Excellent investment expertise at Neue Bank AG: Top rankings in FUCHS | RICHTER performance projects
Neue Bank AG has established itself as one of the leading private banks in the field of asset management and impressively demonstrates this in the independent performance projects conducted by the FUCHS | RICHTER testing authority. In both projects, the foundation portfolio (PP6) and the private banking portfolio (PP7), Neue Bank took second place, beating not only the benchmark but also the majority of its active competitors.
Our outstanding rankings in both projects demonstrate that our individual, sustainable and scientifically sound investment strategy is effective in practice and creates real added value for different client groups.
Thomas Hemmerle, member of the Executive Board, is delighted with the recognition: „This award underlines that our active, scientifically sound approach not only enables sustainable but also above-average successful investment strategies and thus significant added value for our clients. We are delighted with this confirmation and would like to thank our clients for their trust“
Sustainability without compromising performance
A key feature of our investment approach is the seamless integration of sustainability without compromising returns. Our equity strategy has a clear climate focus, is aligned with the EU Paris-Aligned Benchmark (PAB) and focuses on companies with declining CO2 emissions across all scopes. Strict exclusion criteria and a selective ESG strategy ensure that only the best companies are included in our portfolio.
Added value through our proprietary risk management
Neue Bank’s success is based on innovative, scientifically sound strategies:
- Proprietary traffic light system for risk management: Our innovative risk model enables dynamic management of the risk ratio and ensures that we achieve outstanding risk-adjusted results in different market phases.
- Proprietary equity model: A combination of quantitative financial analysis and strict sustainability assessment is used to identify high-yield, responsible companies.
Why these results are outstanding
In Performance Project 6 (foundation portfolio), which comprises 38 participants, only 8 participants were able to beat the benchmark. In Performance Project 7 (private banking portfolio), the figure was 20 out of 43 participants. Neue Bank AG ranks among the top two participants in both projects, demonstrating that tailor-made investment strategies, active management and a consistent sustainability approach offer clear advantages over passive ETF strategies and standardised funds and lead to long-term success.
Conclusion: Neue Bank AG sets standards
Neue Bank AG proves that sustainable investments and high returns are not mutually exclusive. Our excellent rankings in the FUCHS | RICHTER performance projects underscore that our proprietary approach, active management and sustainable strategy make us one of the leading private banks in the market.
You too can rely on asset management that is individual, sustainable and successful in the long term.
About Fuchsbriefe performance projects

- Performance Project 6 (Foundation Deposit): Stability and profitability for foundations
The aim of this project was to develop a sustainable investment strategy for a charitable foundation with assets of €5 million over the period from January 2020 to December 2024, ensuring annual distributions of at least €100,000. At the same time, risk had to be actively managed to avoid losses of more than 20% measured from the peak value. Our strategy combined a balanced equity allocation with stable returns and a long-term value-oriented investment structure. Performance was assessed based on volatility and return compared to a ‘naive’ portfolio of bonds and equities with a benchmark equity allocation of 45%. - Performance Project 7 (Private Banking Portfolio): Preserving wealth with controlled risk
For a wealthy private client with a portfolio of €2 million, the challenge is to preserve wealth over the period from October 2021 to September 2026 despite annual withdrawals of €20,000 after tax and costs. The focus is on a low-stress investment strategy that offers both security and attractive returns while limiting the risk of a loss of more than 20% from the respective peak asset value. A ‘naive’ portfolio that a wealthy private investor with basic expertise would have put together themselves without professional advice served as the benchmark.
